Here is a super cute pizza themed Heartsprinkle Pillow! It’s perfect for the pizza lover!

This pattern is written in English. It is only a modification (mod) of the original Heartsprinkle Pillow Pattern. You will be given the specific colors for specific rows. MATERIALS:

6.5mm Crochet Hook

Bernat Yarn-

• Crimson
• Buttercup
• Sand

Polyfil

Darning needle

Scissors

 

Abbreviations:

SC-Single Crochet

HDC-Half Double Crochet

SL- Slip

ST- Stitch

INC-Increase (two stitches)

 

HEART:

Make heart in buttercup color.

TRIM:

Placement of the trim is made by eye.

Lay your pillow front side up. Squish the sides to find the middle area of the side of the pillow. You will use CRIMSON yarn to single crochet around. Attach CRIMSON yarn at the middle between the humps. At the humps of the heart you will need to do a combination of SC, INC (Increase two)..until you get to the point where the side of the heart is straight. On the rest of the heart you only need to single crochet one. AT THE POINT you need to do THREE SC. When you finish this row, I recommend you SL ST into the heart for the last stitch to prevent the yarn from bunching up in that area. SL ST into first SC. Fasten off.

Attach SAND at the side of the point. (The middle stitch of the three SC you made with CRIMSON yarn…you will need to do three HDC in this stitch. I recommend you start the crust on the stitch next to where this 3 HDCs will be.)

(HDC INC, HDC) around *on the last stitch which should be the middle stitch of the three SC cluster front he previous row* you will need to do 3xHDC (this will be the only 3xHDC you should do). SL ST to first HDC and fasten off.

If you want the trim to be like ruffles, I recommend you (HDC 2x, CH 1) in all stitches. To make it even more ruffled you can do (HDC 3x, CH1)

 

PEPPERONIS (Make 11):

With CRIMSON yarn

6 SC in magic ring. SL ST into first ST and fasten off.

Attach all pepperonis randomly throughout.
