Here is a super cute mini mermaid puffy heart! It’s perfect for the mermaid at heart!!

You will need to purchase HEARTSPRINKLE MINI HEART PATTERN to make this Mini Pencil Heart Decor/Keychain.

This pattern is written in English. It is only a modification (mod) of the original Heartsprinkle Mini Heart Pattern. You will be given the specific colors for specific rows.

MATERIALS:

4.00mm OR 4.50mm Crochet Hook

Worsted Weight Yarn (Green, Red, Purple)

Polyfil

Darning needle

Scissors

 

Abbreviations:

SC-Single Crochet

HDC-Half Double Crochet

SL- Slip

ST- Stitch

INC-Increase (two stitches)

 HEART:

RND: 1-10: Green

RND: 11-23: Red

FINS (MAKE TWO):

RND 1: 3SC in magic ring. (3)

RND 2: INC (6)

RND 3: INC (12)

RND 4-7: SC all around. (12)

RND 8: DEC all around (6)

RND 9: DEC only ONE TIME (5)

Attach fins to the bottom of the heart.

BOW:

CH 11

ROW 1: SC in 2nd CH from hook and in all CH (10)

ROW 2-6: SC in all (10)

Fasten off with long tail. Move tail to center. Pinch middle and wrap around to make a mini bow. Tuck and hide other tail. Attach bow where red and green rows touch. You can hot glue back of bow to make it more secure. You can also add embellishments on the bow or tail to give it a little bling!
