I have a new project on my hook. It is a summer themed C2C project. This was voted by my followers on my Instagram and Facebook. As I make these blocks, I will be adding them onto my blog. Join me if you’d like!
These summer time or beach themed blocks can be put together for many projects. They can be put together for a blanket perfect for the beach bum, of you can use the to make pillows or wall hangings to decorate your home!
The first square has my bear character, Sugarcube, and his little bee buddy, Buzzby! In this design, he is wearing his sunglasses, and he’s ready for the beach. This is going to be the middle square. Of course you can rearrange the squares however you like! However, some of the colors for the background of each square, I had to put in a specific order so the design looked balanced.
I used the regular C2C techniques shown in my video! It is the chain 5 modification. Please check it out! I currently do not have a pattern for the row count, but will have one ready soon.
I used a G+/4.50mm crochet hook, and I love this Yarn and Yarn Bee yarn from Hobby Lobby. I currently do not have the yardage estimate, but I will update that as well. However this square took less than one skein of each color.
Materials:
- Sugarcube Summer C2C Pixel Graph. Click Here.
- I Love this Yarn: pink, turquoise, peacock, white, light gray, hot rose (dark gray: I used Heather Gray from Yarn Bee)
- Size G+/4.50mm Crochet Hook
- Tapestry Needle

***The written pattern will be updated every time a new block is released, so you will receive updates. This is not the full pattern and will not be the full pattern until the project is finished.***
Each block is 31×31 blocks and measures to be approximately 20 inches.
There will be extra squares or alternate designs you can chose! I will post those as I go.
