I’ve been making this little cutie since 2014. I am happy to finally have a pattern written out for him. I have made some changes throughout the years…but like with most artist…you improve your work the more you make them. Just look at the difference!!

Materials
I wanted to share with you certain materials I’ve used with more detail, and to explain why I chose them.
Yarn:
My favorite yarn to use for this pattern is the worsted weight Studio Classic by Nicole from A.C. Moore! My friend Kathy from KathysKozies introduced me to this yarn. I used Red Heart yarn before, and the colors in this line is similar, but the A.C. Moore brand yarn is much softer and more vibrant!
You can definitely use DK yarn and even smaller! It really depends on what look and size you’re going for. My favorite DK yarns are Stylecraft or Paintbox.
Crochet Hook:
I use my Heartsprinkle Rainbow hook G/4.50mm. Before, I used a G/4.00mm hook, which you can still use if you’d like it to be smaller with tighter stitches. And of course, if you use a different size yarn in general, you will need to change your hook size accordingly.
Eyes:
I have used eyes from Glass Eyes Online since I started making amigurumis. I love the quality of their eyes and they are fairly priced. Safety eyes are not recommended for children under 3 years old. So if you are making this cute jelly for a little one, I recommend sewing eyes on. You can crochet some or just use felt.
Other materials needed are scissors, darning needles, stitch marker, and polyfil.
